Secret Garden Cottages are open!!

As many of you know, a devastating tornado hit Sulphur on April 27, 2024. The tornado began in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and then hit downtown Sulphur and several residential blocks to the northeast. There was tree damage to a portion of the park but it doesn’t compare to the loss of much of our downtown and so many homes.

Though the tornado came close, Secret Garden Cottages was undamaged and we are open for business!

Most of the things that visitors come here to see and do are open. Despite the damage in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, the park is fully open with the exception of one small section of park road going from 12th Street to Hwy. 177. ALL swimming areas, trails, etc. are open and available. Both Veterans Lake and Arbuckle lake are open. Check their current status at Chickasaw National Recreation Area

The Artesian hotel, spa, restaurant, and casino are fully open as are the shops around the hotel.
