Owning Secret Garden has been a wonderful experience for us. We were able to retire early, and take what was originally a fairly nice place to stay and make it so much better. It’s been fun getting to meet so many wonderful guests, hear their stories and provide them with a beautiful, relaxing place to unwind. While we have loved owning and running Secret Garden Cottages, the time has come to enter the next chapter in our lives. We are originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and most of our family still resides there. As we have gotten older we’ve decided that we want to live close to our loved ones.

Our cottages sit directly across from one of the main entrances to Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The park is run by the National Park Service and is around 10,000 acres with two lakes, hiking and biking trails, and spring fed creeks that are very popular in the summer for swimming.
